Monkey D. Luffy is the main character of the manga and animation series One Piece. Luffy is a young and daring pirate from the village of Fuchsia in East Blue. He is the captain of his own crew: "The Straw Hat Crew", composed of powerful and famous pirates like Roronoa Zoro, the vice-captain, or Sanji Vinsmoke, the Black Leg. His dream as a pirate is to become the King of the Pirates, by finding this "One Piece", a priceless treasure hidden by the Pirate Lord Gol D. Roger before his execution. Luffy is known throughout the pirate world as a character who causes a lot of trouble for organizations like the Navy and the World Government. This reputation earned him a huge bounty of 1.500.000.000 Berrys.Concerning his physical abilities and skills, Luffy is a talented demon fruit user. Indeed, when he was still a child, he ate a demon fruit, the "Gomu Gomu No Mi", that is to say, the rubber fruit which made him a rubber man, able to extend all his limbs. All his attacks are based on his ability to extend, stretch his limbs as he pleases. Moreover, Luffy is able to use the three types of Hakis (the Haki of kings, the Haki of weapons and the Haki of perception), which remains extraordinary for a pirate because few are those who know how to handle these 3 Hakis.
