Scar is one of the "villain" characters in the Disney cartoon The Lion King, released in 1994. The story takes place in the Land of Lions, where King Mufasa, Scar's brother, reigns. Very intelligent, Scar is cold and manipulative and wants only one thing: to eliminate his brother to take the throne of the Land of Lions. To do so, he doesn't hesitate to set several traps for his nephew Simba to put him in danger. In particular, he will take advantage of the naivety of the latter to incite him to visit the elephant cemetery against the advice of his father. Then, he orchestrates another trap that will cost his brother's life: he asks Simba to wait wisely in the gorge for an alleged surprise from Mufasa. The 3 hyenas, on Scar's orders, will attack a herd of wildebeest that flee at full speed towards the gorge where Simba is. Mufasa, warned by Scar, goes to save Simba who is in the middle of this herd, clinging to a frail tree branch. He manages to save him, but betrayed by his brother, Mufasa falls into the void and dies. Sadistic, he persuades Simba that Mufasa's death is his fault, pushing him to flee. Scar then becomes the king of Lionland and behaves like a tyrant.On this Pop! figurine, we find Scar with his cartoon appearance: rather thin with the brown fur and black mane.
