Sheldon Cooper is one of the main characters in the series The Big Bang Theory. He's a theoretical physicist at Caltech University in California. Originally from Texas, he lives with Leonard Hofstadter, an experimental physicist. His work mainly concerns string theory. Sheldon is an unusual character, a gifted man who received his first doctorates at the age of 16 and entered university at the age of 11, something he will not fail to remind his friends and colleagues of at every opportunity.He is a pure geek who loves science fiction, comics and video games, but what characterizes him are all those little obsessions around order, perfection and control, his attitude sometimes very childish. He's the character in the series who seems the least socially open. Sheldon is totally incapable of holding a "normal" conversation and takes everything he is told at face value. It is thus through his best friend, roommate and colleague Leonard that he will meet the other characters of the series: Howard Wolowitz and Rajesh Koothrappali.In this Pop! action figure, Funko portrayed Sheldon doing the Vulcan salute as a reminder of his passion for comics and geek culture.
