John McClane is the main character in the Die Hard movies. Played by Bruce Willis, McClane is a New York cop who can be described as "tough as nails". We discover him in the first part of Die Hard when McClane goes to Los Angeles to try to reconcile with his wife. This was without counting on a hostage situation, on Christmas Eve, in the company where his wife works...The hostage situation takes place in the Nakatomi tower under the orders of the German terrorist Hans Gruber who has set up a machiavellian plan to steal hundreds of millions from the company's coffers. If he had planned everything, he stumbles upon an unforeseen event with McClane, who although alone, is determined to thwart the terrorists' plans. In reality John McClane is not completely alone, since he manages to exchange, thanks to a walkie-talkie recovered from a terrorist, with a Los Angeles police officer, agent Al Powell. Although Powell cannot help him neutralize the terrorists, he provides moral support from the outside and will become a recurring character in the Die Hard franchise. On this John McClane POP, the character is perfectly recognizable from the first Die Hard movie. The POP is similar to the McClane figure with his white wifebeater, but this time Funko has depicted him shirtless.Of course, the McClane POP features Bruce Willis' hair, which shows the beginning of baldness, his imposing musculature and his determined look. John McClane also bears the traces of injuries following the various confrontations with the terrorists and the explosions in the tower. Finally, on the side of the accessories on this Funko POP, we find McClane holding in one hand his pistol and in the other the walkie-talkie thanks to which he can communicate with Powell, but also directly taunt Gruber!
