Quasimodo is the hero of Disney's "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame" (and one of the main characters in Victor Hugo's novel from which the animated film is based). Quasimodo is the hunchback, a bell ringer living hidden in the heights of the cathedral.Gathered at birth by Frollo (who has just murdered his mother), he is raised by this ruthless judge and condemned to live hidden from the world so ugly. Indeed, Quasimodo doesn't have the physique of a model with his deformed face, his slumped posture and his hump on his back, but he is of a big heart and only dreams of meeting others.Engaged in a war against the gypsies, Frollo will try to capture Esmeralda, a beautiful young gypsy girl dancing in the square in front of Notre-Dame. To escape him, she takes shelter in the cathedral and meets Quasimodo, who becomes her friend and eventually protects her from Frollo, thus opposing the man he calls "Master".Quasimodo's POP figurine represents the hunchback proudly holding a gargoyle in his hand, one of his few friends. He is dressed in his green clothes: a tunic, tights and a pair of shoes for simple pageantry.Funko pays homage to the bell ringer with a magnificent figurine in which Quasimodo stands bent over. We recognize his almost red hair and his damaged face with a flattened nose and a damaged eye. His half-opened mouth nevertheless reveals a friendly and generous smile. On his back is, of course, the hump that gave its name to the hunchback of Notre Dame.
