Pumbaa, which in Swahili means "dizzy", "disoriented" is a character from Disney's The Lion King cartoon. Pumbaa is a big, smelly warthog that lives in the jungle, away from the other animals of the savannah with his friend Timon. He is said to have been rejected by the other animals because of the smell he has always given off due to his digestive problems: he is prone to gas. He met Timon, a meerkat, and the two of them decided to live together according to the principle of Hakuna Matata, life without worries. Their destiny crosses that of young Simba, heir to the throne of the Land of Lions, who fled the kingdom following the death of his father Mufasa. Indeed, Simba faints from exhaustion in the desert while the two acolytes were playing their favorite game "buzzard bowling". They will then teach her to live according to the precepts of the Hakuna Matata, to eat larvae and insects "a little slimy but appetizing". Simba then spends her childhood and adolescence carefree with her two new friends.One day, Pumbaa, who had ventured alone into the jungle following the trail of a beetle, was chased by a lioness who happened to be Simba's childhood friend. Nala manages to convince Simba to go and confront her uncle Scar to take back the throne that is hers.This flocked Pop! figurine pays tribute to Pumbaa, a very endearing character. We recognize some physical features of the character, notably the oversized head and the two horns of his mouth, his big ears and his brown skin.
