The Dilophosaurus is at the heart of the plot of Jurassic Park, the amusement park imagined by John Hammond and dedicated to the re-creation of dinosaurs. The dilophosaurus is one of the species "resurrected" by Hammond's scientific teams. It is a carnivorous, medium-sized (up to 6m long and 2.5m high), carnivorous dinosaur with crests extending from its eyebrows to the back of its head.The Dilophosaurus has found its place in the plot of the film Jurassic Park because it is facing Dennis Nedry.
