Ghostface is the serial killer of the Scream movies. This character, portrayed in Grim Reaper, seems to find particular satisfaction in pursuing Sidney Prescott, a 17-year-old girl in the first opus, and murdering her relatives.Ghostface is the identity borrowed by the different killers in each of the Scream films. Under this disguise, the murderers are free to commit the crimes, making the investigation and their identification very complex. It also adds a feeling of insecurity for the different characters who feel that history repeats itself over and over again!Ghostface's particularity lies in the staging of his crimes. During the first Scream, for example, he calls his victims before murdering them. In Scream 2 and 3, the killer follows patterns by reproducing the murders or by attacking people with a targeted first name. The killer is also known for the rules he sets and which are discovered as the killer leaves bodies behind. Some of his rules have become very famous replicas, such as: Never, ever say "I'll be right back", because you won't be back!Ghostface's POP figure in Scream is just like the character. We discover a serial killer hidden under an imposing black cape, the hood up on his head and the face hidden behind a mask.The mask in Scream is inspired by Edvard Munch's painting The Scream, which gives an elongated effect and a wide open mouth as the frightened person seems to scream out in the painting.Ghostface's POP is therefore very representative of the character, between skeleton, ghost and gothic! Funko pushed the detail to the point of representing the Scream killer holding a bloody knife on the POP.
