Everything in Twin Peaks, whether it is the town or the series, started with her. Laura Palmer is the victim of a homicide that took place in the small remote town in the northern United States. But she is no ordinary victim. This young girl, with an almost virginal appearance - although the plot will reveal that she was not a saint - is a face on which we believe we can detect innocence. In reality, the truth is much more complicated than appearances suggest. This is what we will discover little by little as Agent Dale Cooper of the FBI begins to unravel the knot of this devilishly well-crafted plot. Because indeed, the Laura Palmer case goes well beyond her only homicide whereas this one, in spite of her, will have become the victim of an evil force coming from another dimension. This same dimension of which Laura Palmer will have been the door of entry when her death implied the arrival of Agent Dale Cooper.Laura Palmer was a high school student in the small town of Twin Peaks. She was a popular girl, successful with everyone. But behind the appearances, this one was however capable of the worst. The investigation will then reveal to the spectator the real personality of Laura Palmer, which, of this fact, will make only lengthen the list of the suspects so much the detectives will not be able to finish with all the misdeeds of the young girl. Common misdeeds, even common, but misdeeds that, in such a small town, can have particular consequences.Laura, during the events of the Twin Peaks series, will only be mentioned or even presented in the mystical elements surrounding Dale Cooper's investigation. Indeed, this homicide is not a banal murder case, it covers an esoteric aspect surrounding this apparently nice town but entangled in a quasi-magical delirium that deceives the senses. The spectator, while following the progress of the Laura Palmer case, will not be able to distinguish the real from the marvelous.Laura Palmer was only the expiatory victim of a community gangrened by a deep evil. We will learn more about the circumstances of her death in the film "Twin Peaks: Fire ride with me", presenting the last days of the victim. The POP figure of Laura Palmer does not present the young girl at her best. While some might have imagined that Funko would feature her with her innocent smile, such as the one seen in the end credits of Twin Peaks, the reality is quite different. Indeed, the POP figure of Laura Palmer presents her as we saw her for the first time, that is to say her corpse after having been fished out...Thus, Laura Palmer is presented wrapped in plastic on this POP, her lips blue and her complexion pale, her eyes closed and her hair still scattered and wet. Lying down, the POP figure of Laura Palmer is presented as the cornerstone of the mysteries that feed Twin Peaks. A very unfortunate but eminently realistic piece.
