Tamatoa is a giant crab, a mythological creature that lives in the kingdom of monsters in the cartoon Moana (Vaiana) from Disney studios. Moana is inspired by a Polynesian legend that tells the creation of the islands by the goddess Te Fiti. But one day, the demigod decides to go and steal the heart of the goddess, coveted by all for her power of creation, in the hope of winning the love of men. However, by depriving the goddess of her heart, Te Fiti loses her soul and Maui causes misfortune and the destruction of all life around the island. They will manage to leave the monster kingdom with the famous magic hook thanks to Moana's stratagem which makes believe that she gives him the heart of Te Fiti by coating a shell with a green fluorescent substance.
