Moana is the heroine of the Disney cartoon of the same name, which is inspired by a Polynesian legend according to which a goddess Te Fiti was at the origin of the creation of the world before taking the form of an island.Moana is the daughter of the Tui tribe chief and is destined to take her place when she grows up. Even though she lives on an island, her father has always forbidden her to hang over the sea and go beyond the reef because the neighboring island is cursed and dangerous.
