Wonder Woman is a superheroine from the DC Comics universe. She is an Amazon, daughter of Zeus and designed as the ultimate weapon to protect the men of Ares, the god of war. The only child of the Amazons, she grows up surrounded by the Amazons and isolated from the world. Fascinated by the history of her people, Diana has only one thing in mind: to train for battle in order to take back the torch from her people the day Ares returns to threaten them...In the midst of the First World War, the plane of spy Steve Trevor crashes near the Amazon Island. Rescued by Diana, and after a bloody battle against the Germans who were chasing Trevor, the Amazons discover that the world is under fire and blood. Immediately, Diana recognizes Ares' work and decides to go and fight him.Against the will of her mother, queen of the Amazons, she joins the front at the side of the soldier Trevor.
