Mordo is one of Doctor Strange's characters. He is the disciple of the "Ancient One" and learns the mystical arts in Nepal from her. It is he who meets Doctor Strange for the first time, when he is attacked by thieves who have come all the way from New York to meet the Ancient One in order to heal himself. Karl Mordo comes to his aid and leads him to the Ancient One.Strange is there after a serious car accident that prevents him from practicing neurosurgery again. He hopes that the Ancient One will be able to cure him... he and Mordo are very different. Strange is also self-confident, arrogant and disdainful, while Mordo only emphasizes his sense of honor. Their unique pairing has enormous potential, and that's what the Ancient One is banking on to make them guardians of powerful sanctuaries.Karl Mordo throws himself headlong into the battle against Kaecilius, an ancient disciple who has turned to evil, and whose plan is to destroy the shrines protecting the Earth in order to bring the demon Dormammu. In this battle, Mordo learns from Kaecilius that the Ancient One herself bypasses the rules she teaches the disciples and that this is where she gets her power from. Mordo leads his fight to the end, but he sees this as a betrayal and will prefer to leave Nepal after they defeat Dormammu.The post-generic scene of Doctor Strange shows that Mordo launches into another fight: that of attacking all those who use magic, and thus the initiates of the Ancient...Mordo's POP figure represents him in his disciple's outfit. He is wearing a green tunic, dark pants and black boots.
