E.T. is the hero of the eponymous film E.T. the alien released in 1982 and directed by Steven Spielberg. The story follows E.T.'s passage on Earth and his encounter with a young boy named Elliott. While he had just landed on Earth in a flying saucer to analyze botany with his fellow creatures, the little extraterrestrials are spotted by the American government and forced to flee. AND having moved away from the ship, finds itself abandoned in the precipitation.E.T. flees in an attempt to escape the government agents and finds himself face to face with a young boy of about ten years old: Elliott. Elliott ends up sweet-talking the alien with candy and hides E.T. in his room to protect him. Elliott only shares his secret with his little sister Gertie and his big brother Michael, the 3 children will then do everything to allow ET to come home.It was the phrase "E.T. home phone" that made the movie even more popular, as well as the famous passage where the little extra-terrestrial takes off his bike into the sky to escape from government agents.Funko had no choice but to pay tribute to one of the most popular characters of the movie with a pop figure of E.T. the alien! So we find a figurine faithful to the little creature where the features and the attitude on the POP are perfectly reminiscent of the character from the movie.Indeed, we find on E.T.'s POP his nice and tender face, his small very bright eyes and his wide smile. Funko has of course taken over the physical details: the long fingers of the alien (with his four-fingered hand), his slightly plump belly, his relatively short legs and the glow that shines through his body on his chest and on his finger when he activates his powers.Fans of the character and this cinematic masterpiece will surely enjoy collecting E.T.'s POP!
