Because of his strength, Netero went to face Meruem directly in single combat after Zeno brought him to the palace of Goruto East. Despite his power, however, Netero could only barely scratch Meruem. The mission was to defeat the King of the Kimera Ants, however, so Netero unleashed a miniature nuclear warhead stored in his body to eliminate the King. Isaac Netero then disappeared in the explosion of the demented and vicious Pink Bomb.His death, following the events of Goruto East, led to bloody elections for the leadership of the Hunter Association, before his son Beyond Netero kicked in to force the Hunter Association into the Hidden Continent.Despite his usual air of a spoiled grandpa, Netero knows how to be serious when the situation requires it. Thus, the Funko POP figure of Netero represents him not in a kimono, but with his fighter's uniform. The figure of Netero, in view of the fight that awaited him, wore a just-in-case on which the kanji "Kokoro" was displayed, the latter meaning both "heart" and "soul".Netero's Funko POP, with his beard and hair cut short, is installed in a curious position on a lotus that evokes the aura that emanates from his Hyakkushiki Kannon. Thus, the Funko POP of Netero in his fighting clothes represents him as he was on the day of his last fight.
