Abraham Lincoln is the 16th president of the United States and was at the helm of the country during the Civil War against the backdrop of the abolition of slavery, one of the most important crises in the construction and development of the United States.As the first Republican President of the United States, Lincoln marked the history of his country in many ways. There is of course his fierce fight against slavery which will lead to the 13th amendment of the U.S. Constitution proclaiming the abolition of slavery, but also other acts that contributed to the development of the United States including the conquest of the West and the Homestead Act of 1862 allowing Americans to become legal owners of land.Born in a modest family, self-taught in politics, a lawyer by training, Abraham Lincoln lived an intense life until he was assassinated by a southerner before the end of his second term.Funko could not offer an "American History" collection of personalities who have left their mark on the United States without paying tribute to one of its most famous presidents. It is therefore natural that, alongside George Washington or Benjamin Franklin, we find a POP figure of Abraham Lincoln.On the POP, Lincoln wears his black suit under which one simply guesses a white shirt, conferring a rather austere aspect to the character. He also wears his high hat and stands in a posture where he closes the jacket of his perfectly cut suit.We find President Lincoln with his somewhat tousled brown hair, his thick beard and his imposing ears. Funko hasn't left out any detail, even the little button on his face below his nose!Finally, this POP reminds us that Lincoln was very tall since he was 1.93m tall. The figurine shows a man with a slender physique who is thus very faithful to the character.
