Will Byers is a bit the one with whom everything starts in Stranger Things since the plot is set while this one mysteriously disappears. In the small town of Hawkins, where nothing ever happens, at first we think it's a teenage runaway, but very quickly strange phenomena occur, making us fear the worst...The whole first season of Stranger Things is thus centered around the search for the young boy. His mother doesn't want to believe he's dead, his brother is devastated and his friends cling to low hopes of ever seeing him again.Will is one of the few characters who will manage to escape Demogorgon and survive several weeks in the world upside down thanks to his intelligence and resourcefulness. Although he is doing his best to survive, the situation is urgent as he is beginning to become unable to breathe in this parallel world due to the toxicity of the air. He manages to communicate with the real world with subterfuges, thus maintaining hope for his mother and friends. He hides in his hut, called "Byers Castle" for several days before it is destroyed by the monster, which captures him in a viscous material that leaves traces in his body, even after he is rescued by his mother and local police chief Jim Hopper.Funko offers us a very beautiful POP of Will, a tribute to the first season of Stranger Things, and even to the very first episode since Will's outfit is exactly the one the young boy wears when he is kidnapped...We find Will wearing his blue jeans, black shoes and orange and yellow jacket. He also has the backpack containing his school stuff that he was carrying with him the night he cycled home from Mike's house after their Dungeons and Dragons party.Finally, the character on this figurine of Will is well recognized with the young boy's bowl cut, his straight hair and his shiny eyes. A nice POP for the fans of the series since it represents well the origins of the plot of this Netflix success!
