Illumi Zoldyck, just by its name, suggests fear to most people. No need to introduce yourself when you belong to the infamous Zoldyck family, a family in which one learns to be a hitman from a very young age. The family consists of the great-grandfather Maha Zoldyck, his son Zeno Zoldyck, his grandson Silva Zoldyck and finally the five children of the latter, of whom Illumi is the eldest son.As a worthy representative of his family, Illumi watches over his brothers and especially over Killua, whose potential he admires. A potential that he fears to see spoiled by the wanderings of this brother who, then, seems to seek to flee the family heritage to live his own life by accompanying Gon. Illumi, like Killua, passed the 287th session of the Hunter exam. Illumi, then, presented himself under the features of Gitarakuru, having modified the shape of his face thanks to his nails. Indeed, Illumi uses a Hatsu; his power using the energy of the Nen, by using needles. He can, with these last ones, manipulate those which he manages to plant, and even use them on him to modify his face and to make himself pass for somebody else.It is by modifying his face that he will be able, for example, to pass himself off as Hisoka while the real Hisoka is away fighting Chrollo. Illumi and Hisoka met at the 287th session of the Hunter exam, where they were both winners. A kind of friendship that doesn't say its name was formed between the two of them through sporadic cooperation. Hisoka will lend a hand to Illumi in order to prevent Alluka from exercising her power, given the implications that this would have in the long run.More surprisingly, Hisoka and Illumi even got married. Their union was not for any sentimental reason, but for very unworthy interests. Indeed, the two men got married as part of a cruel game where the one who would succeed in killing the other, by this way, could inherit the goods of his victim. After Hisoka kills two members of the Ghost Brigade, Illumi joins the ranks of the Ghost Brigade, becoming the second Zoldyck to serve Chrollo along with his younger brother Kalluto.The Funko POP figure of Illumi Zoldyck presents him with big eyes. The big eyes that are typical of all Funko POP figures, but also with black dilated pupils - similar to those of a cat - with which he usually stares at his interlocutors.
