Homelander, who is sometimes called John by Vought International, is the main antagonist of the Amazon series The Boys. He is also one of the two main antagonists of season 2 (with Stormfront). He is the leader of the Seven and the main enemy of Billy Butcher, the leader of the Boys.With the face of a movie star and the power of a god, Homelander is considered the greatest living superhero and leader of the Seven. Homelander is rational, initially concerned about Translucent's disappearance in the Cherry while the rest of Vought, and the world, ignored him. He is a ruthless leader, doing whatever it takes to maintain a good public opinion of the Seven, including threatening Starlight and The Deep. Homelander depicts the true extent of his anger in the episode You Found Me, killing Stillwell for lying to him about Becca Butcher and her child.As a person, he is deeply narcissistic, disturbed and psychotic, showing no empathy. For a superhero, Homelander is incredibly brutal and aggressive, throwing a bank robber in the air and dropping him to his death and brutalizing A-Train. He is very smart as he has a meticulous plan to get superheroes into the military, and he is also charismatic, easily influencing the public to support him.
