Agent K is one of the two heroes of the movie Men In Black. He is a secret agent whose mission is to protect Earth from extraterrestrial crime and to regulate intergalactic immigration to our planet. The MIB members are all dressed in black suits and sunglasses and are equipped with very advanced technology. They go unnoticed by humans because they erase the memory of witnesses: the presence of aliens must remain secret to avoid global panic. At the beginning of the film, K's mentor retires and returns to civilian life. K decides to train a new recruit to replace him when he, in turn, leaves his life as an MIB agent. It is then that he finds James Edwards, a young New York policeman who has succeeded in pursuing a human-looking alien. After passing the job interview and agreeing to leave his life behind, James becomes Agent J and begins his training with Agent K.
