Angus MacGyver is the main character of the eponymous series. A former secret agent, he is recruited by the Phoenix Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps people in distress around the world.Mac Gyver often finds himself in perilous situations and must use all his ingenuity to get out of them. Anti-weapon and fiercely against violence, he manages to neutralize his enemies by using tricks. It is also his "ingenious" side that made him very famous, making "MacGyver's tricks" a must-see.Indeed, it is with great tricks and often with very limited means that MacGyver gets out of complex situations. He is able to make explosives with rice alcohol, to unlock a door with a coat hanger or to plug a leak with chocolate... MacGyver is also known for his traps and diversions, using his environment to divert attention and get the upper hand on his enemies, despite the fact that he is most often outnumbered.Funko makes a nice nod to the series with this POP of MacGyver where we discover the character under the features of the actor who plays him, Richard Dean Anderson. The POP is more than faithful to the character, whether it's his mid-length haircut, his outfit with his brown jacket or his calm and composed attitude.Of course, the only accessory on the POP figure is one that Funko couldn't forget: the Swiss Army knife that MacGyver always carries with him and that proves to be indispensable to perform all his tricks. On the POP, MacGyver is holding the Swiss Army knife open, suggesting that he is about to make a new way to escape or to neutralize an enemy!
