Dr. Ian Malcolm is a central figure in Jurassic Park. Mathematician, eternal pessimist and follower of chaos theory, he is invited by John Hammond to visit the dinosaur park to get his scientific opinion on the question of having recreated dinosaurs.Malcolm is one of the most skeptical when it comes to discovering dinosaurs and how Hammond plans to exploit them. He positions himself as a moral conscience by warning with his chaos theory that any attempt to control nature is doomed to failure, and that nature always takes back its rights. Moreover, he claims that Jurassic Park is a violation of nature.Ian Malcom forms a good trio with Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler for his skills as a scientific theorist, but also for his character that stands out from the other two characters. Indeed Malcolm is more of a "bad boy", flirt and with a rather important ego giving him a natural self-confidence.Ian Malcolm's figurine is in the effigy of the character from the film Jurassic Park. The POP represents him wearing his leather clothes, his half-open black shirt and his big sunglasses. His look is clearly that of the slightly heavy flirt. He stands perfectly straight with his arms along his body, and Funko has pushed the detail to the haircut where his brown hair is combed into a brush towards the back of his head.On Malcolm's POP, he also wears the jewels that characterize the character: an imposing belt, a medallion necklace and finger rings!
