The Evil Queen is one of the main characters of the Disney cartoon Snow White. The story is about the adventures of a young princess living with her mother-in-law, the Evil Queen. Snow White's mother died giving birth to her, her father the King remarried a beautiful but cruel and vain woman. When the King died, the Queen made the Princess a servant and treated her with contempt. Very narcissistic, she asks daily who is the most beautiful in the kingdom to her Magic Mirror: "Mirror, mirror made of ebony wood, tell me, tell me that I am the most beautiful". Her mirror answered her, "Looking around, in the whole wide world, you can't find anyone more beautiful than you are." Thanks to him, she also knows everything that happens in her kingdom and governs it with an iron hand.One day, the Magic Mirror tells her that Snow White, despite her rags, has surpassed her in terms of beauty with her beautiful ebony black hair and snow-white complexion. Furious, she asks her faithful servant the hunter to kill the princess and bring her heart back to prove her death. But the hunter, unable to kill the princess, lets her escape into the forest. He kills a doe and brings her heart to the Queen.When the Queen realizes that the hunter has not killed the Princess, she takes the appearance of an old lady and goes to the cabin where Snow White has taken refuge to offer her a poisoned apple that would grant her wishes. The witch manipulates Snow White and plays on the naivety of the princess to get her to bite into the apple. Immediately, Snow White collapses and falls into an eternal sleep. The wicked witch expresses her satisfaction with a Machiavellian laugh.
