Waldo is the hero of the "Where's Waldo?" game-book series, in which the young man is hidden among hundreds of other characters. While Waldo may seem easily recognizable (he still wears a red and white sailor's hat!), in reality it's much harder, and many of us have grumbled for hours on a page of the book swearing that we've checked every inch of the book and couldn't find him!The series was created in 1980 by Martin Handford, children's author and illustrator, whose greatest creation is certainly this nice character. The saga has survived the passage of time from generation to generation to the delight of children and the nostalgia of older children.This POP of Waldo in Where is Waldo is a nice nod to the character from Funko. We find Waldo in his usual outfit: brown shoes, blue pants, red and white long-sleeved t-shirt and his hat also as a sailor.On the figurine, Waldo is leaning on his cane and seems to wave with his hand, with his smile and satisfied look that he seems to throw to the reader when we finally manage to identify him! The endearing character is perfectly recognizable with his red-haired hair and his imposing glasses.
