Wonder Woman aka Princess Diana or Diana Prince, is an Amazonian girl daughter of Zeus and Queen Hippolythe. She lives with her people on the island of Themyscira, a tribe made up of women who all train to fight.When a plane crashes at sea near the island, Diana goes to the rescue of her pilot Steve Trevor. The English spy then informs the Amazons that the world is the scene of the First World War, which claimed millions of lives. Wonder Woman recognizes the mark of Ares, god of war, and decides to go to the front to fight him.At the side of Trevor and his little outfit, recruited for its maverick qualities, Wonder Woman manages to reach the German General Erich Ludendorff whom she thinks is Ares. But Lundendorff's death doesn't stop the conflict, making Diana realize that she was wrong.Sir Patrick Morgan reveals then that he is Ares and tries to convince Wonder Woman that men do not deserve her protection. She refuses and faces the God of War.
