Oswald Cobblepot, also known as "Bone" but mostly known as The Penguin, is one of the godfathers of the mafia that gangrene Gotham city. He is the head of a network of traffickers and has taken control of the drug trade in Gotham since the fall of Maroni, betrayed by a mysterious "rat".In Matt Reeves' The Batman, the Penguin is back in the spotlight. Played by an incredibly magnetic Colin Farrell, the crime lord is at the heart of Bruce Wayne's investigation. Indeed, he is the owner of the nightclub where the criminals meet but also the corrupted elites. The Riddler, an enigmatic serial killer, is determined to expose the corruption of Gotham's elite. To do so, he stages their murders and sets Batman and inspector Gordon on a wild goose chase. The scene between Batman and the Penguin is one of the most spectacular scenes of the film, since it is at this moment that we discover the Batmobile! A frantic chase between the two characters in which the Penguin will lose some feathers...The Penguin POP figure is perfectly faithful to the character in The Batman. A mobster at the head of a criminal network whose physical attitude and way of walking earned him the nickname Penguin. In his fifties, the criminal is marked by life, like his scar on his face. His skull is starting to recede and a few wrinkles are appearing on his forehead.Funko chose to represent Cobblepot dressed in his suit and tie. He also wears his black raincoat and holds in his hand his umbrella, a nod to the DC character. If in the movie The Batman, the umbrella is not a gadget full of weapons, it remains a "signature" accessory of the Penguin and Matt Reeves reminds it in the movie. It is easy to imagine that this POP is taken from one of the scenes where the Penguin comes out of his den. This is where he is vulnerable although it seems that Batman is not really afraid to go to the Penguin's club to get information from him, even if it means fighting with all the mobster's henchmen!
