Sheldon Cooper is one of the main characters in the series The Big Bang Theory. He works as a theoretical physicist at Caltech University and lives in a flat share with his colleague and best friend Leonard Hofstadter, an experimental physicist. Sheldon is gifted, earning his first PhDs at the age of only 16 and entering university at the age of 11. However, he has a little trouble with anything to do with "real" life, human relationships and feelings. He is not very sociable and does not understand second degree.
