Sheldon Cooper is one of the scientists on The Big Bang Theory. He works as a physicist for Caltech University in California with his three friends Raj, Howard and Leonard, his best friend and roommate. Sheldon is a genius in his field but rather associable, he has a lot of trouble with human relations. He has many obsessive-compulsive disorders such as always knocking three times at the door before entering. His OCD becomes one of the recurring gags in the show. Like his friends, he has a passion for science fiction, comics and geek culture. The routine lives of these scientists will be turned upside down by the arrival of the pretty blonde Penny who becomes Sheldon and Leonard's next-door neighbour.Several times in the series, the four scientists disguise themselves as Star Trek characters.
