Bob Newby is the boyfriend of Joyce Byers in season 2 of Stranger Things. This man who grew up in Hawkins is the manager of RadioShack, a high-tech equipment store. While Bob doesn't know anything about the real events of the past year and Will was in the world upside down, he only knows that the boy has been missing for a few weeks and that it is still a shock to the family. Bob is very understanding and caring with Joyce and her children, trying to recreate a safe family environment.It is in spite of himself that Bob is going to be involved in the strange things that are happening in Hawkins. Will is having more and more seizures and when he begins to convulse violently, Bob accompanies Will and his mother to the Hawkins laboratory.When the lab is attacked by the Demo dogs, Bob is very brave. With his computer skills, he takes the responsibility of reactivating the laboratory's power grid so that he can open the doors again and escape. Guided from a distance by Dr. Owens, Bob will have to be vigilant not to fall on the creatures but will end up devouring them a few meters from the laboratory door...Funko pays tribute to this very endearing character from the second season of the Netflix series.
