Owen Grady is the expert in charge of studying dinosaur behaviour on Jurassic World, and as such is brought face to face with dangerous species up close. Owen sincerely loves dinosaurs and enjoys interacting with them. In particular, he is in charge of training the four velociraptors in the park: Blue, Charlie, Delta and Echo, with whom he adopts an almost paternal behaviour...Owen Grady has cared for the velociraptors since birth, including Blue who is the oldest and smartest of the pack. Owen Grady is able to communicate with Blue, make himself understood and give her instructions, which will help save the life of a park employee who fell in the velociraptors' enclosure, among other things.Things get more complicated in the park, however, when Owen is asked to review the safety of a paddock away from the park. The pen is reserved for the Indominus Rex, a brand new species of dinosaur invented from the DNA of other species, and it's intended to be the most ferocious and powerful dinosaur ever known. Owen Grady doesn't like the creature and soon realizes how smart and dangerous it is when the Indominus Rex manages to wipe itself off the radar to simulate its escape, until it actually manages to escape...It is especially the paternal relationship between Owen and Blue that will avoid the worst on the island of Isla Nublar although the men are forced to flee and let the dinosaurs regain their full freedom until a new threat arises with Mount Sibo about to erupt and definitively exterminate all the dinosaurs ...Owen's Pop figure holding a small velociraptor in his arms, barely out of its egg, is a nice tribute to the Jurassic World trilogy. We find the adventurer Owen Grady in his exploration outfit (green shirt, reporter's vest and grey pants) and in his hands a small velociraptor that we can easily guess is Blue, with an open mouth already showing a fierce jaw although he is very endearing!
