Te Ka is the lava monster in the movie Moana, a Disney cartoon released in 2016. According to a Polynesian legend, the goddess Te Fiti created the islands from her heart before lying down to sleep and forming an extra island. One day, the demigod Maui stole her heart and gave it to men. But without her heart, Te Fiti disintegrates. Te Ka, the goddess of the depths of the Earth is a lava demon and tried to tear Te Fiti's heart from Maui. In the battle between these two creatures, Maui lost her magic hook that gives her power and the stone in the ocean. Little by little, the Polynesian islands begin to die, coconuts rot in the trees and fish desert the ocean.A few thousand years later, the ocean then chooses Moana to accomplish the mission of restoring the heart of Te Fiti to restore the balance of the archipelago. Indeed, when she was a baby, Moana found the jade stone, the heart of Te Fiti, in the ocean. Later, when she becomes a teenager, it's her island's turn to start dying. Her dying grandmother then entrusts her with the stone she had found and encourages her to begin her journey: to return the heart to the goddess Te Fiti. She then takes her dugout canoe and sails in search of the demigod Maui to ask him for help. Together, they will face the kakamora pirates. Then, they will have to defeat the terrible lava monster Te Ka which blocks the passage to the island of Te Fiti. When Moana manages to project Te Fiti's heart through Te Ka, we realize that Te Ka was actually just Te Fiti, angry and rabid without her heart. The balance is then restored in her, Te Ka disappears and Te Fiti brings balance back to the archipelago. Everything becomes green around, life starts again. This Pop! figurine represents the demon Te Ka in the form of an erupting volcano with a human face. It stands on a volcanic earth base with orange and black flames and smoke. His torso, arm and head protrude from the volcanic soil. Her body is made of molten lava, which cools on the surface and becomes black, but we can see red and yellow marks representing the lava which is very hot and cracks the whole structure. On his head you can see more flames and black smoke. In her hand, she is holding a flame that she is ready to throw. Her face with its nasty eyes and open mouth accentuates her violence and aggressiveness.
