Winry Rockbell is a childhood friend of the Elric brothers. Unlike them, she never lost her way in the army and preferred the peace and quiet of the small town where she lives. Her daily life is shared with her grandmother, Pinako Rockbell, who taught her the basics of mechanics.Winry lives with her grandmother because she lost her parents when she was very young.
