Renji Abarai will have been one of these allies of the main character as we often find them in Nekketsu and who often attract the sympathy of the spectators. In a Nekketsu, indeed, the main character gains new allies as he evolves in his adventures, sometimes even becoming friends with the very ones he fought against. The very first interaction between Renji Abarai and Ichigo Kurosaki was a martial one. The two of them confronted each other as Renji, accompanied by his captain, came to take Rukia back to the Soul Society. From this confrontation, Renji emerged victorious. Although he was able to finish off Ichigo, Rukia - his lifelong comrade - found a way to dissuade him from doing so.Although he appeared to be a cruel and ruthless protagonist, Renji was actually trying to make himself look good to his superiors. The news that Rukia - whom he had brought before the Justice of Gotei 13 - was sentenced to death, shook his convictions and allegiance. Of course, he remained loyal to his captain and of course, he found himself once again in the path of Kurosaki Ichigo when the latter infiltrated the Soul Society. This time, the fight turned out to be a disappointment for Renji who, after being defeated, was placed under arrest because he was suspected of colluding with Ichigo. Because of this treatment, Renji decided to escape and eventually found Ichigo. This time, the meeting did not result in a confrontation but in an alliance that did not say its name. Thus, Renji, along with Ichigo, learned to master the Bankai, the ultimate Shinigami technique that allows one to become the captain of one of the Soul Society's divisions.Once he had mastered Bankai - although not yet fully developed - Renji went to confront his former captain who was trying to prevent him from going to free Rukia. Zabimaru, the name of Renji's Zanpakuto, revealed its insane power as it took the form of a huge snake. Renji was defeated again, but he managed to humiliate the very proud Byakuya by forcing him to bend his knee to the ground. Afterwards, Renji will use his Bankai many times during his confrontations, destroying everything around. Thus, the Funko POP figure of Renji with his Bankai naturally presents him with his Shinigami uniform, which is made of a black kimono and a white belt. The Zanpakutô of the Funko POP figure of Renji with his Bankai is no longer in the form of a sword, but of a curious threatening snake. Admittedly, the Bankai is not on the scale of what it is in Bleach, but this one admirably conveys the threat it is supposed to represent. Moreover, the shoulders of the Renji figure with his Bankai are covered by a fleece with a skull on top.The POP figure of Renji with his Bankai does not fail to emphasize the superbness of this character who almost supplanted his master and who, afterwards, was considered by the latter as his equal.
