She is the first "human" to meet the Mutant Ninja Turtles, and although she was scared at first, she quickly became friends with the little band.April's job, and her curiosity, very often put her in delicate situations. For example, she is often the target of Shredder who wants to get rid of her or use her as bait to reach Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles . Nevertheless her courage is always there to assist her ninja friends as best she can.
