Huntress, real name Helena Bertinelli, is one of the superheroes of the Birds of Prey women's quartet. From the DC universe, she fights against Gotham's criminals to avenge the slaughter that struck her family a few years earlier.Indeed, Helena comes from a wealthy Gotham family. Her father, Franco Bertinelli, was one of Gotham's most respected mobsters. Engaged in a violent war with another family, the Bertinelli's are decimated in a massacre from which only Helena will be spared. Gathered by the Cassamento family, she leaves to grow up in Sicily where she spends her youth training for combat in order to return to Gotham to avenge her loved ones.In Birds of Prey, she does just that - unknown to all in this great city of crime, she takes on one by one all the men who were involved in the massacre of her family. Most of these men are linked to Zionis although he is not directly concerned.Huntress's weapon of choice is a crossbow, which earned her this nickname in the beginning when she is still completely unknown to the criminal world. She hides her identity and face under a hood and usually reveals it only before killing her targets to make them understand that she has avenged her family. While Huntress is not directly involved in the main plot of Birds of Prey, she finds herself involved in the final battle with Harley Quinn, Detective Montoya and Black Canary. After killing Sionis' right-hand man, she finds herself surrounded by Sionis' army whose objective is to get her hands on a diamond (which is none other than a diamond that belonged to the Bertinelli family).Huntress thus agrees to ally with the three other women to protect the young Cassandra and to escape from Roman Sionis. She is of a precious help with her combat skills, her agility and her mastery of the crossbow and firearms. This Huntress POP in Birds of Prey follows the mysterious character played by the actress Cathy Yan. She wears her black "combat" outfit and hides her face under her hood, but you can still recognize the young woman's make-up eyes and see the brown strands of her hair.On the accessories side, Funko has obviously chosen to represent Huntress holding her crossbow in her right hand, and we can guess ammunition and weapons along her legs. A very successful figurine to complete the set of heroines forming the Birds of Prey quartet!
