Alfredo Linguini is one of the main characters in the animated film Ratatouille by Disney. This young redheaded man is somewhat lost in life. Shy and clumsy, he takes a series of small jobs until the death of his mother who, before she died, wrote a letter of recommendation to send him to work in the great restaurant "Chez Gusteau! ».History teaches us a little later that Linguini is none other than Gusteau's hidden son. The starred chef having died a few months ago, with no descendants, leaves all his possessions to Skinner, his sous-chef as mean as he is greedy for power and money. Realizing that Linguini is Gusteau's true heir, Skinner will do everything he can to get rid of him...Linguini's life is turned upside down when he meets Remy, a little rat with a passion for cooking. The two opposites quickly understand what they can bring to each other: Remy dreams of running a starred restaurant but is reduced to the status of a "rat", while Linguini has to prove himself to take over his father's restaurant but knows absolutely nothing about cooking. This is how the pair is formed, with Remy hiding under Linguini's chef's hat and guiding him to develop the greatest recipes. The news of Linguini's arrival in the restaurant came to the ears of Ego, one of the greatest food critics who had made Gusteau lose a star before his death...When Ego goes to the restaurant to taste Linguini's cooking, it is the most complete panic and it will take the talent and friendship of Ratatouille's two heroes to seduce Ego. Ego will then praise Linguini's cooking and will be speechless when he learns that the real chef is Remy...All of them will end up losing their jobs: the restaurant will be closed by the hygiene services because of the presence of rats and Ego who had praised Linguini will be discredited, but the story ends well all the same! Indeed, Alfredo Linguini opens with Remy a new restaurant, called "La Ratatouille", where Ego regularly goes to taste the cuisine of the "little chef" Remy. This POP figurine by Alfredo Linguini is a nice tribute to the character. We find Linguini as he is in Ratatouille: a shy and lost young man! He stands upright, shoulders down and staring into the void. His attitude reflects his lack of confidence and clumsiness. Nevertheless, his gaze is immediately touching and his face reflects the kindness of the young man.In this figurine, Alfredo is dressed in his chef's outfit. He wears a white apron over his everyday clothes, which remind us that he is only a very young man with his sneakers.Funko hasn't omitted any detail on this POP paying homage to the Disney Ratatouille: the freckles on the cheeks, the tousled red hair, the toque on his head or the copper skillet that Alfredo holds in his left hand. You'd almost guess that Remy is hidden under that hat, wouldn't you?
