The Smurfette is the first female character in the comic book created by Peyo. Her character appears only in the eponymous album of the comic strip because the Smurfette, unlike the other Smurfs, was created from scratch by the wizard Gargamel.Indeed, Gargamel was looking for a ploy to sow chaos in the Smurfs' village and seize the opportunity to capture them... He therefore imagined a "feminine" Smurf who would seduce the Smurfs and sow discord among the little blue beings. If Gargamel's plan almost worked, with the Smurfs doing everything to please the Smurfette: repainting the dam in pink, organizing parties for her, etc., the Smurfette crosses the yellow line when through his fault the Smurf village is flooded... Realizing that the latter is in fact a trap set by Gargamel, Papa Smurf orders the Smurfette's arrest and trial. She will eventually integrate and even adopt the language of the Smurfs. The latter, who had never met a Smurf of the opposite sex, also learned to live harmoniously with the Smurfette and the community regained its equilibrium. This Smurfette's POP perfectly reflects the character's physique: a blue-skinned character, tall as three apples and dressed in a white outfit. Unlike the other Smurfs, Smurfette wears in addition to her white cap a pretty dress and small heeled shoes that support the feminine side of the character.Funko did not omit the most important detail of the Smurfette's physique on this POP figurine by representing the long blond hair of the character. Finally, she stands in a very feminine posture with her left hand palm open to the ground and her right hand leaning on her face. A nice tribute from Funko who reminds us that Peyo imagined the little character inspired by the icon of femininity at the time: Brigitte Bardot.
