South Park has known many evolutions in its style. The sense of absurdity, obscenity and irreverence has remained unchanged, however, many elements have changed over the seasons. It must be said that South Park is no longer that original little cartoon from 1997. With more than twenty years of existence to its credit, South Park has indeed become a phenomenon before being a series. A phenomenon that naturally popularized the Funko POP PC Principal figure among other South Park characters.PC Principal, beyond the character, is a marker of the evolution of South Park. Today more turned towards current events and recent social phenomena, South Park has consequently adapted its cast to better suit the current period. A period of which PC Principal is as much a representation as a symptom.PC Principal succeeds Principal Victoria as head of South Park Elementary School. Unlike her, PC Principal will not occupy a backseat position. Arriving with great fanfare during season 19 of South Park, PC Principal quickly earned a special place in the hearts of fans who, without a doubt, could not help but appreciate this lively caricature, which is nevertheless representative of many Americans.Indeed, PC Principal is a caricature of people in the U.S. and elsewhere who polish their speech to be politically correct. The "PC" in PC Principal literally stands for "Politically Correct" in order to better label a character. Trey Parker and Matt Stone, in creating PC Principal, intended to better denounce and mock a recent societal phenomenon, that of the outrageous and omnipresent political correctness in the public sphere.Concerned about the rights of all minorities that may exist to the point of ridiculousness - demonstrating the ridiculousness of the posture of political correctness - PC Principal is not far from a contradiction in defending its convictions. Constantly offended for nothing, he does not hesitate to use violence to punish the most harmless crimes of opinion. The Funko POP PC Principal figure presents the character without caricaturing him - at least, without caricaturing him more than he is already in his natural state. This Funko POP PC Principal figure shows the evolution of the South Park style to the point where even the graphics of the characters have evolved. Contrary to the very rigid characters with arms along the body as we can find in South Park, PC Principal is otherwise more expressive in his gestures. Also, the Funko POP PC Principal figure reveals him as he is in his animated version. The PC Principal Funko POP is revealed here with his usual attire, a blue t-shirt and beige pants with a belt. Expansive, with open arms, his blond hair and horrifying little goatee are separated from each other by a thick pair of sunglasses and an open mouth revealing his teeth, making the character even more unsympathetic than he is due to his opinions. Also, the Funko POP PC Principal figure does an admirable job of making the character as physically unbearable as he is in the series. A character that we love to hate as much as we love him for his humorous potential.
