Fox Mulder is an FBI agent playing one of the lead roles in the X Files series. With his sidekick Dana Scully, he is in charge of investigating paranormal phenomena, "X-rated" cases, i.e. unclassified.Although Fox Mulder was recruited by the FBI as a profiler, he then voluntarily chose to join the X-Classified department because he is pursuing a personal quest to unravel the plot of his sister's disappearance as a child. Fox is convinced that his disappearance is linked to extraterrestrial phenomena and hopes to explain them and even bring his sister back.It is following this tragic incident that Fox developed deep convictions about the existence of extraterrestrials.
