Mulan is the main character in the Disney animated film inspired by the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan. In the middle of the night, the Huns, led by their leader Shan Yu, invade the country. The emperor then decrees the mobilization of one man per family to join the army and protect the empire. Mulan is the only daughter of Fa Zhou, an old man who walks with a cane due to war wounds. Her mother Fa Li regularly tries to find a husband for Mulan, who does not always behave like a decent young woman, making it difficult for her mother to send her to meet a matchmaker. That day, Mulan arrives late with straw in his hair to his mother's great displeasure. She is undressed and placed in a bathtub to prepare her for her wedding dress.
