Initially, there were several agents of the Matrix who were able to track down all those who sought to break away from the Matrix or who threatened the existence of the Matrix. Many people mistake them for FBI agents because of their austere appearance, sunglasses and crisp suits and ties. Agent Smith was initially supposed to be a simple protection program for the Matrix, in charge of defending it. However, this one will have then discovered other attributions later in the series.Played by Hugo Weaving, Agent Smith, later known only as "Smith" is the main antagonist of the Matrix saga. Or rather, he is the embodiment of a whole system on his own as he evolves in the plot, gaining more and more importance. Agent Smith was only one of the innumerable protection programs of the Matrix created to defend it against undesirable elements. He was just an ant in an ant hill. And yet, this ant developed a personality and became unique. Agent Smith did not seek to eliminate conscious humans from the matrix by simple reflex, but by ideology. His speech to Morpheus attests to his hatred of the human race. He will say that the human race is a virus and that he, like the machines that programmed him, are the cure.At the end of the very first Matrix, Agent Smith, along with his two sidekicks, will be eliminated by Neo as he discovers his chosen status. Defeated, the Smith program will then create a backup in the Exile, which will later allow him to return to the forefront not as a program, but as a virus. A fearsome virus that will be as damaging to humans as the Matrix itself. Indeed, by using his new features, Agent Smith will be able to duplicate himself by copying himself on the mind of the Matrix's victims. This ability, along with many others, will allow him to be a strong rival for Neo as well as his final opponent. At least, before the fourth opus of The Matrix takes place.Agent Smith will even go so far as to insert himself into the mind of a human being in the real world in order to eliminate them beyond the Matrix. As a particularly tough virus, he will be remembered as one of the most memorable antagonists in film history. The Funko POP Agent Smith figure presents him with all the gravity and austerity that befits the character. Indeed, as represented by the figurine Agent Smith, the character is a carbon copy of the original. With a black suit and tie and perfectly harmless, the Agent Smith POP figure is indeed the figure of a relentless bureaucrat, a perfect analogy of the virus he will become. The Funko POP Agent Smith, in addition to his particular sunglasses, also has a gun. We can guess that the Funko POP Agent Smith figurine represents him here at the beginning of the saga. Because later, this one will indeed not need a weapon to face Neo and his comrades.
