Riddler is one of the main characters in Matt Reeves' The Batman. He plays the "bad guy" that Batman is going to have to stop, but his point of view is quite different: according to him, he and Batman are on the same team when it comes to crime, corruption, and lies to the citizens of Gotham.Anchored in his delusion, Riddler becomes a meticulous serial killer, orchestrating each of his crimes as real spectacles that he sometimes broadcasts on social networks. Targeting all of the city's corrupt elites, he takes Batman on a wild ride.Among the Riddler's victims are Mayor Mitchell, D.A. Colson and mafia boss Falcone... He seems determined to attack all those who have lied, no matter which side of the law they represent. His targets also include Bruce Wayne, whom he considers responsible for the actions of his late father Thomas Wayne. In fact, the story of the Riddler, whose real identity is Edward Nashton, is not so far removed from Bruce Wayne's. Both grew up in Gotham City. Both grew up in Gotham City, both are orphans, both seem to share the image of pure justice and both are vengeful. But they also have big differences: Bruce Wayne is a billionaire while Riddler belongs to the poorest social class and above all Riddler is determined to make his own justice by destroying all that Gotham holds dear...In The Batman, Riddler is a complex, enigmatic and captivating character. This is amplified by the intriguing costume behind which he hides his identity and it is in this costume that Funko has chosen to represent the POP of Riddler. Also, we discover the character in a completely green suit, a mix of a military camouflage outfit and a raincoat... He also wears a rather atypical hood, a kind of basic gas mask.On the Riddler POP figure, Funko has left no stone unturned to make it as faithful as possible to the character as seen on screen in The Batman: he wears his imposing glasses over his mask and his jacket is marked with the symbol he likes to leave as a signature of his crimes: a question mark reminding us that Riddler takes a malicious pleasure in sowing riddles...Finally, Funko makes a last nod to the movie by representing Riddler unrolling tape on this figurine. It's easy to imagine that the serial killer is getting ready to tie up his next victim to make him suffer the worst tortures of his imagination!
