In Chuck Panahniuk's novel Fight Club, Tyler Durden was a concentrate of chaos. He was characterized above all by deaf and even blind violence and a semblance of madness. And for good reason, Chuck Palahniuk himself admits that Fincher's version is even better than his novel. A freedom that has a bitter taste, but a taste that one ends up appreciating with wear and tear.What, thereafter, after his meeting with the narrator, will lead the two men to consolidate in an impulse of freedom which, pushed to its last extremity, will lead to a form of chaos. A chaos that wants to be the advent of a new world. Tyler Durder, in this respect, is an eulogy of marginality well understood. The one that has the vocation to really overthrow the system not by adopting postures, but by attacking its internal contradictions.The narrator and Tyler Durden meet on a plane trip. Tyler, then, is only one of the "one-time friends" of the narrator who, at this time in his life, is experiencing an existential crisis. The two of them end up living together after some unfortunate circumstances, which later leads to the founding of Fight Club; the foundation of a revolution that does not say its name.By living a rather dysfunctional life as a couple, the two will have known how to agglomerate around them all the outcasts of society.
