Inspector Gadget is the hero of the eponymous animated series released in the 80s. He is a "cyber policeman" at the cutting edge of technology, hence the name "Inspector Gadget" which are mostly gadgets directly integrated into his body: springs in his legs, a helicopter in his hat, fingers from which he can pull out a water gun, a pen, a screwdriver or a lamp, etc.His main mission is to arrest Dr. Claw, head of the MAD criminal organization. But if he can count on his numerous gadgets, he doesn't really have any intelligence. Indeed, he is clumsy, stupid and frequently makes mistakes... He can nevertheless rely on his niece Penny who on the contrary is a brilliant young girl.This Inspector Gadget POP figure is very faithful to the character of the animation series. Indeed, we immediately recognize the look of the inspector with his big gray raincoat, his blue pants and his dark brown gloves. His face is also easily recognizable with his long brown hair, his big eyes which give him a not really intelligent look and finally his imposing nose which falls on his face!For this POP of Inspector Gadget, Funko chose to represent him with two of his most emblematic gadgets: the flashing light that comes out of his hat and that Gadget activates every time he is on an urgent mission; and the rollerblades on his feet equipped with thrusters allowing him to move extremely fast.
