Inspector Gadget is the famous police investigator whose costume is filled with technological gadgets that allow him to handle the most complex investigations and to pursue Dr. Claw, the "big bad" of the animated series.Famous for his gaffes and limited intelligence, Inspector Gadget is in a way the stereotype of the dumb, funny and lucky cop! Assisted by his little niece Penny and the dog Brain, the Inspector receives his mission orders from Police Chief Quimby in the form of a parody of Mission Impossible.This Londoner of origin, with an atypical physique, follows the trail of Dr. Claw and his henchmen to resolve the various investigations and restore order. To do so, he can count on his many gadgets that fill his costume from head to toe: different springs, helicopter blades, scissors, roller skates or limbs that stretch out!Funko unveils a POP Chase Inspector Gadget figurine with the effigy of the character in the middle of an investigation. We find the inspector on the trail of a criminal, magnifying glass in his hand and pointing at what he thinks (certainly wrongly) is irrefutable evidence.Funko represents the Inspector in his emblematic (and unique) outfit: his long grey raincoat, blue pants, the white shirt that can be guessed under his blue elastic tie. On the accessory side, he obviously has his grey hat and leather gloves, both full of gadgets.The POP Inspector Gadget Chase differs from the classic version by the articulated arm that comes out of the hat and features the inspector's police officer badge. Funko has pushed the detail to the point of reminding that this third mechanical arm also has a leather glove!
