Raj Koothrappali is one of the main characters of The Big Bang Theory series. This series follows the adventures of four geek scientists who work at the University of Caltech, California. Raj is an astrophysicist of Indian origin and likes to recall his modest origins when he actually comes from a very rich family! He has a particularity: his great shyness. He becomes unable to speak in the presence of women unless he has drunk a few drops of alcohol.
