Steve Harrington works at Scoops Ahoy in season 3 of Stranger Things. The Netflix series that takes place in the small town of Hawkins where strange phenomena occur that all seem to relate to the "upside down world" accidentally opened by Eleven in the first season.Season 3 starts at the end of summer. Strange events seem to be in the past and each of the characters has returned to a "normal" life: Joyce works at the convenience store but plans to leave Hawkins with her Will and Jonathan, the group of boys led by Mike grows up and their geek activities give way to a new passion for girls, Dustin comes back from a summer camp where he seems to have found love and Hopper tries to survive the oppression he feels when Eleven and Mike flirt...Steve on his side is not in the best phase of his life. If during the first season of Stranger Things he was the "popular guy" in high school and was dating Nancy, he is now forced to find a job because he can't continue his studies at the university. He was hired at Scoops Ahoy, an ice cream store that operates out of the newly opened Starcourt Mall in Hawkins. When Dustin tells Steve that he believes he has intercepted a secret Russian communication, the Scoops Ahoy store becomes the headquarters for an undercover mission in the basement of StarCourt. Steve and Dustin are helped by Robin, Steve's colleague, then also recruit Erica, Lucas' little sister, for this dangerous expedition. The small gang will indeed reveal the existence of a Russian military base under the shopping mall, whose goal seems to be to reopen a breach towards the world upside down ...This new POP figure by Steve Harrington is from the third season of Stranger Things. We find the young boy with the always perfect cut (for the time?) in his working outfit: a very "sailor" look. Indeed, Steve wears his navy blue shorts and t-shirt with small white stripes. He also has a scarf in the colors of the ice cream store and a bachi (sailor's hat) with "AHOY" written on it in capital letters.Funko didn't omit any detail on this POP which is very faithful to Steve's character in Stranger Things: first of all, there is the little red badge with his first name on it, but also the watch he wears on his wrist or the red and white striped t-shirt that you can guess under his sailor's uniform. This figurine reminds us of the exclusive Funko POP where we discovered Steve in his work outfit, but for this one, Steve is holding an ice cream cone that he hands out to a customer. He has the other hand on his hip so we can easily think that he is (trying to) hit on her!
