Daria - or Daria Morgendorffer - is the main character of the eponymous series. In the middle of a microcosm of housing where everything is nice and everything is nice - at least at first sight - she appears as one of the only discordant elements in the panorama, like an original oil stain on a cheerful but characterless painting. This gloomy and shady character, however, was not inherited from her family. Indeed, her father, Jake Morgendorffer, is an optimistic and awkward entrepreneur, who gets carried away in short bursts of rage, while her mother, a brilliant lawyer, is particularly sociable although too reluctant to take care of her two daughters. Two daughters indeed because Daria has a sister who is one year younger than her: Quinn. This one is then the antithesis of Daria, jovial, popular, superficial until the last excesses, giving place to latent antagonisms between her and her sister throughout the series. Passes at arms that are often hilarious.Daria, is thus a pure anti-conformist. She doesn't get along with anyone and has a superiority complex, as her intelligence far exceeds that of her contemporaries. Lost between idiots and hypocrites, she cherishes her friendship with Jane, one of the few people in school she enjoys. Although she seems to be above all else, Daria is a high school student with her flaws and faults. Flaws that she struggles to assume, for fear of being one of those hypocrites she despises so much. Despite her genius, she can't help but fall in love with Trent, Jane's brother, who is a failed, lazy and apathetic musician.Between her convictions and expectations, Daria will be torn at times, experiencing existential problems that many students are likely to share and yet will never have been brought to the screen. In a sense, Daria is the standard-bearer for all the marginalized who have felt ostracized for having the audacity to express critical thoughts in an environment where conformity is king. So, to mark her anti-conformism down to her appearance, the Funko POP Daria figurine, true to the character she represents, is dressed in such a way as to imply that she does not conform to the fashion canons. Some dress as rebels while others are rebels and dress up; this is the case of the Daria figure who, then, wears her iconic khaki jacket from which we see protruding an orange shirt, also wearing a black skirt and mounted rangers. You can't tell by her posture and air, the Funko POP Daria is quite circumspect in the way she stands. Arms crossed, eyes half open, jaded as the character knows how to be, the Daria POP figure not only represents her appearance, but also the atmosphere and character that emanates from her. An atmosphere that you will like to distill around you by putting forward the Funko POP Daria in your home.
