Jim Hopper is Hawkins' Chief of Police in the Stranger Things series. Since the first season episodes, Hopper has developed a trusting relationship with Joyce Byers and her children and a particular distrust for the men in Hawkins' lab.Although everything seems to be in order, Hopper has a secret: he hides Eleven in his home to protect her and allow her to grow up away from the scientists in the lab. He has set rules for the girl, including never going out, and has set up numerous security codes to deal with her.In season 2, Hopper is called on a special mission by farmers. Their crops are ravaged and everything seems to indicate that it is a poisoning between rival farmers. The story becomes more complicated when Hopper realizes that the affected crops spread over hectares all around the city.Hopper then discovers Will's drawings that seem to be possessed by the monster. He makes the connection between the networks drawn by the boy and what is happening underground.
