Stiggy is a small dinosaur which owes its nickname to its species, the stygimoloch. He appears for the first time in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, the second opus of the new trilogy dedicated to Jurassic Park where he will play an important role as the dinosaurs are about to be auctioned off. This little dinosaur is one of the survivors of Jurassic World. Once the Indominus Rex caused chaos in the park and was dragged to the bottom of the basin by the Mosasaurus, the dinosaurs, including Stiggy, regained their freedom. So they move freely on Isla Nublar until danger threatens to extinguish them once again. Indeed, Mount Sibo is about to erupt, and lava flows are spreading all over the island...That's why an expedition is being organized, and it includes Owen Grady, the dinosaur behaviour expert, and Claire Dearing, the former head of park operations, who is now the head of a dinosaur advocacy group. The objective of this expedition? To evacuate a dozen species of dinosaurs to another island where they will be safe. Unfortunately, the expedition is hijacked by Eli Mills, whose real plans are to organize a dinosaur auction to finance research aimed at creating a perfectly trained and dangerous dinosaur that can be used as a weapon of war?Stiggy is one of the dinosaurs captured by the paramilitary organization led by Eli Mills and is repatriated to the mansion where the auction is to take place, but he is not a dinosaur like the others... Like Blue and the other velociraptors, Stiggy has rubbed shoulders with Owen Grady who has developed a closer relationship with him and Stiggy remembers his trainer perfectly. This is how the dinosaur is going to be of great help in organizing the release of his companions and thwarting Eli Mills' plans!Stiggy's POP figure is just like the dinosaur: an endearing little creature. It has a shape quite similar to that of the velociraptors, it's a small dinosaur and its particularity (which makes the figurine magnificent) is to have different colours, notably a scaly skin in orange, red and brown shades with white marks on the muzzle, torso and skull.Stiggy is standing on his powerful hind legs and the details with the horns on his head and the back of his skull give the figurine a very nice effect. It is also noted that this is one of the few dinosaur figures that does not represent the open-jawed dinosaur, giving Stiggy a friendlier and more endearing face, although his black eyes remain somewhat frightening!
